The Dawson hammers have from the start been designed for the driving of sheet and tubular piles. The principle is based upon an accelerated ram weight and is not limited to the force of natural gravity. This creates a high blowrate with an ‘accelerated’ impact to the profile or tube resulting in a much higher efficiency. It allows you to work with small impact hammers to drive big piles. The Dawson hammers are short which makes them stand easily on the profile or tube resulting in less wear and tear and a better stability during the pile driving. This particular unit has been factory overhauled and upgraded in 2017 to the new E version. This gives great benefits in the control of the hammer.
